About i-IDeA 2013
In conjunction with His Royal Highness DYMM Tuanku Raja Perlis's 70th Birthday, UiTM Perlis Industry, Community & Alumni Network (PJIM & A) is 
organizing International Innovation, Design and Articulation (i-IDeA 2013) with the theme of "Empowering Research and Innovation Idea Towards Sustainable Economy". This program will be held on 28 - 30 May 2013.
i-IDeA 2013 is a competition that highlights research products of and promotes the culture of research and innovation not only among the local residents of UiTM Perlis but also among participants from local and foreign institutions of higher education. Previously known as Invention, Innovation, and Design (IID), this program is given a new breath with activity like Commercialization and Innovation Idea Competition (ComiiC).
i-IDeA 2013 is a link between institutions of higher education and industries to share their products and creative ideas that can be commercialized.
The program has the following objectives:
- To showcase innovation, invention and designs which are produced and created by academicians and non-academicians, students from local and foreign higher education and including Malaysian secondary education.
- To create a platform for research groups among local and foreign academician and non-academicians in commercializing their innovations and ideas.
- To steer innovative culture through research and at the same time create research awareness among the experts particularly the UiTM Perlis community.
- To realize and develop cooperation among participants in the commercialization of the ideas.
- To produce and stimulate creative talents among potential innovators by organizing related activities during the program.
Are you a creative person with new innovative ideas ? Don't waste the ideas! Now, you have the opportunities to turn them into realities and perhaps even produce prototypes or models based on your ideas. These ideas will even trigger the transformation of Malaysia into a develop nation. Don't wait any longer. Present your creative ideas to our panel of experts in the innovation competition organized by UiTM Perlis.
Commercialization Innovation and Idea Competition (ComiiC) is a platform for national students to deliver ideas which meet the concept of innovation. The aim of the competition is to train students in delivering research OR innovation ideas verbally with high confidence. This later can be commercialized and contribute to the nation.
